Join Metro Parks Slate Run Living Historical Farm at FountainSide Wednesday, July 27 from 11:30 a.m. Slate Run Metro Park has numerous trails of all different types some are under tree canopy, some are wide open through prairies & farmland or even wetlands. Metro Parks typically have trails to walk, hike, bike, run, dog parks, disc golf, picnic areas, playgrounds and more Sharon Woods Metro Park. This week, as we take a closer look into life on a farm, we challenge YOU to create your own painting using corn-on-the-cob! Central Ohio offers up multiple metro parks sprinkled around the Interstate 270 circle. This week’s FountainSide Fun Challenge comes from Metro Parks Slate Run Living Historical Farm! Turning time back to the 1880s, Slate Run looks to give visitors a first-hand experience of life on an old Ohio farm.
